Viswaroopam case on 30.1.2013 – again stayed

The Single Judge Mr Venkatraman stayed the orders of Tamil Nadu Government stay order for the release of kamal viswaroopam on 29th January 2013 at around 10 PM.

The Tamil Nadu Government appealed in the High Court of Chennai against these orders on 30th January 2013.

The Bench comprising of Chief Justice of Chennai High Court after hearing the arguments of Government Advocate and other lawyers, now stayed the orders of the single Judge that was passed last night.

The viswaroopam case was heard by two Judges of the Chennai High Court on 30th January 2013 in the afternoon and after hearing the plea of Government Advocate, the Bench stayed the orders issued by the single Judge, last night .

So, the Viswaraoopam is again banned by the Chennai High Court.
