As of today there is no official notification about the issue of Anna university application form for the year 2011. But, according to the media reports, the likely schedule will be as follows:

ISSUE OF APPLICATIONS………… .16th May 2011 to end of May 2011

PUBLICATION OF RANK LIST ……. .20TH JUNE 2011

COUNSELLING BEGINS……………..Last week of June 2011/1st week of July 2011

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had completed my Diploma in Information Technology and scored 92.5% of marks.(2010 passed out). I want to know the detail of Engineering counselling, whether the form for the lateral entry to B.E/B.Tech is same or not which will be going to issued on may 16th onwards. Please clarify this doubt to my mail ID as soon as possible. This will help me for the further correspondence.

Applications will be available only in counters. The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to http://www.annauniv.edu/tnea2011. The procedure for registration is available in the website.

When there was entrance exam, it was like that – now Only one application for attending counselling. During counseling session, you will be allotted the selected course and college.

Only one application for Counseling and you will be allotted the course and the college at the time of counseling. Good luck.

The only thing is you have to meet the officials at Anna University in person. Or else you have to wait for the receipt of call letter for counselling. By the way what is your cut off marks, which can predict the date of counselling for you (i.e marks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry).
