Lateral BE admission (Direct second year BE) procedure

Many students, who have done their B.Sc or Diploma are eagerly enquiring us the  details about the lateral entry in engineering colleges and for such of those students, a sample advertisement issued by the Directorate of Technical Education (It should be noted that the lateral entry for engineering colleges is being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education and not by Anna University).  For such of those students, we have given some details in our blog.

  sir i had completed my diploma in cse.my 5th sem mark is 92.13%.and i will get my final sem marks more than 90%.please suggest me that can i get lateral entry admission in top engg colleges through counselling and please tell me which type of colleges will i get.i belong BC community.please reply me sir.

  If you apply through DTE you will get a seat in any one of the Colleges with lesser fee. You can join the private colleges under management quota. You have not mentioned your Branch. Depending upon the branch, the cut off marks are decided for the counselling session. Just now this year’s admissions are over.
