The Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry for BE/BTech admission is yet to kickstart. The ACCET has published the last year cut off marks for the benefit of the prospective students, which you can see from the below given LINK.

LAST YEAR CUT OFF MARKS (2012) FOR LATERAL ENTRY ENGINEERING ADMISSION<>.

Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has published today in leading news papers calling for applications from Diploma Holders in engineering/Technology and B.Sc Graduates for admission to Second Year B.E/B.Tech Degree courses during 2010-2011 under LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME. And the seats are available in Government, Government aided engineering colleges, some self financing colleges and Anna University .

Issue of application will be from 26-5-2010 to 24-6-2010

Last date for receipt of filled in application 25-6-2010 – 5.00 PM

The cost of application for other than SCA/SC/ST – Rs 300 in the form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of THE SECRETARY, SECOND YEAR BE/B.TECH DEGREE ADMISSIONS – 2010, ACCET, KARAIKUDI – payable at Karaikudi.

Free for SCA/SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu only.

You have to wait for the announcement by the Technical Education Department, which is the authority for admitting students for lateral entry. Normally, the lateral entry will be conducted once the First Year admission through Anna University is over. As you have scored 92% in CSE there are pretty much chances to get in any one of the leading engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu itself. Just follow this website and we will update the lateral entry admission procedure at the appropriate time. Good luck.
