YSR Jegan Mohan Reddy who was fighting with the Congress high command for Chief Ministerial post has resigned from the Congress. He has resigned his MP post and sent his resignation to the Speaker.
Likewise, YSR wife, has also resigned her Pulivandhala MLA post.
And she has also resigned from the Congress and have decided to launch a new party with the name YSR Congress.
Jeganmohan Reddy tried to become the CM of Andhra Pradesh, when his father YSR deceased in a Helicopter accident. But the Congress has not agreed to this and made Rosaiah as Chief Minister.
Some media says that Rosaiah could not manage the politics of Jegan Mehan Reddy and the Congress high command has asked Rosaiah to step down and he also tendered his resignation on health grounds. And now Congress has installed Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
It is said that Jegan Mohan Reddy has the support of 23 MLAs and 5 MLCs.
