According to latest informtion available through various media, the present chief minister of Karnataka Mr B.S.Yeddyurappa has been asked by the high command of BJP to resign paving way for a new leadership in the state. This has come after effect of an indictment by the Loyayukta report pertaining to the illegal mining scam.
Due to lot of controversies that were prevailing for over a couple of months, the end has come to the present chief minister to resign from the post. The BJP Parliamentary Board has met and decided this today.
BJP Spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad told as follows: “The BJP Parliamentary Board unanimously decided there has to be a change in the leadership of the BJP legislature party in the state of Karnataka. Accordingly, it has advised Yeddyurappa, the present chief minister, to tender his resignation immediately,” today.
Reports further say the BJP leaders are visiting Bangalore to elect a new Chief Minister candidate. Let us wait and watch the further developments in the Karnataka political scenario.
