The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has announced today i.e., on 25th February 2021 that the age of retirement of Tamil Nadu Government is raised from 59 to 60. This will apply to those who are retiring upto 31st May 2021.
Only two months back the retirement age was raised from 58 to 59.
It is said due to the forthcoming elections in the state of Tamil Nadu the Chief Minister has announced this to get support from the government employees.
